In the Eco-Active Roofing Category, MAC won first prize for the Alexandra Palace project in London. On this 500m2 flat roofing project, works included both refurbishment and new build aspects, with MAC Roofing contributing significantly towards the restoration of North London’s most iconic listed building. In the Single Ply Roofing Category, MAC achieved the top award for Menai Science Parc in Angelsey. On this prestigious new build development, main contractors Willmott Dixon selected MAC Roofing to provide a range of warm roof waterproofing solutions on various flat roofs plus a feature sloping roof. In addition, MAC provided a composite vertical cladding solution to the inner courtyard areas. Read the full case study here.
Last, but not least, MAC Roofing also won the Liquid Waterproofing Category with its R7 project in King’s Cross, London. On this new build, inner city development MAC were selected to install a full inverted roof build up incorporating Icopal’s hot melt waterproofing system. Read the full case study here.
Run by materials manufacturer Icopal, the annual IMA Awards recognise teamwork, quality workmanship and outstanding achievement amongst it network of approved roofing contractors. The event has been running for over 20 years and is highly respected throughout the industry.
