Project Award: Lytham St. Annes High Sch

Lytham-St-Annes-High-School

We are delighted to announce that MAC has been selected to install a range of roofing systems on the Lytham St Annes High School redevelopment project in Lancashire.

Construction work will be undertaken in four stages, creating a new two-storey school with exceptional facilities set in a landscaped campus setting. All new build elements will be net-zero carbon in operation, achieved through specially selected materials and on-site offsetting of energy use through an extensive biosolar roof system. Consideration for the existing school and community users will also be essential during the build process, with careful planning to ensure that teaching and other activities can continue without the need for any temporary accommodation.

This project represents the first school to be built as part of the DfE’s 10-year Schools Rebuilding Programme (SRP). The scheme will create modern, energy-efficient education environments for thousands of pupils, whilst also helping to level up opportunities for all.

Our thanks go to everyone involved in helping to secure this fantastic project!
